Step 1: Install the app

To get started, let’s install the Civil Pixels app on your store. Head over to https://apps.shopify.com/civil-pixels and click the “Install” button.

Accept the app and your subscription plan. You’ll be redirected to the app’s home page.

Step 2: Pick your pixels and add custom code

Civil Pixels lets you add any script anywhere on your site while also providing premade scripts for you to use.

Install Premade Pixels & Tags

We have several tracking scripts in our library that you can use. They are:

• Facebook Pixel – This is the conversion pixel for Facebook Ads. We implement all the events you need to see how each ad is performing in dollar terms and retarget visitors based on their actions.
• Google Ads (Adwords) Conversion Tag – This is the conversion pixel for Google Ads. We implement the Purchase and Add to Cart event with dollar values.
• Snapchat Pixel – This is the conversion pixel for Snapchat Ads. We implement all the events you need to see how each ad is performing in dollar terms and retarget visitors based on their actions.
• Twitter Conversion Tag – This is the conversion pixel for the Twitter conversion tag. We implement all the events you need to see how each ad is performing in dollar terms and retarget visitors based on their actions.

Add Custom Code

Have code that you need to paste before the closing head tag or body tag? Or want to activate a script when someone adds an item to their cart?

No problem.

Step 3: Publish your changes

After you make any changes to your script, you need to click Publish to make them active. This is because we must rebuild and store your store’s script files to serve to your visitors.

Once you click Publish, we’ll do the rest! Your scripts will automatically be published to your store and be activated based on your settings.
